Cloud Fit Check: Cloud Solution Suitability

Suvidha Finserv, a fictional Indian NBFC, wants to add an AI credit-scoring model to its digital lending. You are the cloud security analyst who decides whether, and how, it should run in the cloud.

In nine lessons you test what is really "cloud" against the NIST characteristics, open your own AWS free-tier account and lock it down (root MFA, no root keys, an admin user with MFA, budgets with alerts, a private and versioned bucket), map IaaS, PaaS and SaaS onto the shared-responsibility stack, choose deployment models for eight organisations with India's MeghRaj tiers in mind, draw the actor map, build a five-category requirements register with the RBI directions and the DPDP Act, cost training against inference in the AWS Pricing Calculator, learn from two Indian cloud incidents, and write the Cloud Suitability Recommendation for the board, reviewed against a rubric.

You submit real evidence from your account through Bartman: the IAM credential report, your budgets and bucket settings, the cost estimate and your documents. No payment card? A simulated new account in the lab gives you the same files. This project covers Class 1 of the Cloud Security Architecture & Compliance module (Bartman Cybersecurity track, Professional Certificate in Cybersecurity, LSBF).
